UK politicians warn of ‘catastrophic’ delay in emergency services network

A committee of UK politicians has warned that the country may be left without a network for police and other emergency services for up to six months. The Public Accounts Committee (PAC), a powerful – and much feared – watchdog of the UK House of Commons has issued a report saying that the current Airwave network may cease to function in March 2020, six months before the new network, being built by BT, completes its national rollout.
